Our Story
Built on connection. Rooted in emotional insight.
The name AdvoCast comes from two words: advocacy and broadcast. We exist to help organizations advocate for authentic human connection — strengthening the way leaders, teams, and customer-facing staff relate to one another and to the people they serve. Our choice of a .media domain reflects this same vision: media is not just a channel, but the way modern organizations communicate, whether through leadership, team development, or internal podcasts. AdvoCast is about equipping organizations to connect — not limited to one medium, but dedicated to making every message matter.
“I built AdvoCast to fill the gap between what organizations say and what people actually hear. When we prioritize Authentic Human Connection over polished output, you build trust that can be seen, felt, and measured.”
— Shawn P Neal, Founder & Executive Producer

AdvoCast was founded to solve a critical problem: organizations are communicating more than ever, but connecting less.
We saw the gap firsthand. Teams were overwhelmed by noise, unclear on message, and struggling to build trust in a media environment that moves faster than people can process. Leaders needed more than content. They needed clarity—delivered with credibility, emotional precision, and a deep understanding of human be
That’s where we come in.
AdvoCast is led by Shawn P Neal, a media producer and strategist with over 25 years in professional audio and more than a decade in leadership consulting, specializing in emotional intelligence, positive psychology, and team communication. Long before AdvoCast became a reality, Shawn spent years working alongside leadership teams—coaching them to understand how emotions shape decisions, how communication impacts culture, and how unspoken tension can undermine even the best messaging. His work helped leaders recognize blind spots, shift internal dynamics, and build workplace cultures rooted in psychological safety and shared values.
During the pandemic, as the world turned to media to stay connected, Shawn returned to his production roots and launched a podcasting agency. But something was missing—until the full picture came into focus: it wasn’t just about producing content. It was about how organizations communicate when it matters most.
AdvoCast became the result of that evolution.
Today, we operate at the intersection of media and strategic advisory. We guide internal communications teams, PR departments, and executive leaders through message development, tone alignment, and immersive production that drives trust across entire organizations. From internal podcasts and leadership communications to campaign planning and change management media, we help clients design content that aligns people around what matters.
Our work is built on our proprietary Human Impact Blueprint™, which is the foundation of everything we do. The Human Impact Blueprint™ is a human-centered model that blends emotional intelligence, positive psychology, and appreciative inquiry to create authentic connection and measurable people outcomes. We believe people want to feel seen, heard, and valued and organizations have a responsibility to communicate with that in mind. That’s why we combine human-first strategy with expert guidance and production support—whether we’re leading the message, advising your internal team, or delivering the media ourselves. We meet clients where they are, aligning communication with intention and impact.

Our work is grounded in the Golden Circle:
-
Why: We believe authentic human connection is the foundation of trust, engagement, and culture in the workplace. We advocate for communication that is emotionally resonant, intentional, and distinctly human.

-
How: We empower organizations to build that connection by transforming how they communicate - with strategies rooted in purpose, empathy, and clarity. Our approach blends the innovation of emerging technologies with the timeless power of human storytelling.

-
What: We produce, consult, and advise on media and messaging that builds trust and helps organizations communicate clearly—inside and out.
This is more than a framework.
It’s how we work, who we work with, and what our clients walk away with.
